 When The Jacqueline Chadwick Academy put on a show they do it well. Our productions consist of original scripts, musical score and choreography. We never regurgitate the same old shows - they’ve all been done before, and done well so what’s to be gained? We like to push the boundaries of the assumed capabilities of young performers.We sometimes stage branch showcases that do just that - showcase newly gained skills in all areas of performance but we observe a whole different dynamic when we put on a big show.

Shorters Avenue, Manchester is nick-named ‘Beirut’ by local law enforcement and emergency services so whose bright idea was it to send in a team of news reporters to do a live report? Reporting on the fact that Shorters Avenue has been voted ‘Britain’s Worst Street’ due to the record number of Anti Social Behaviour Orders served upon it’s residents in the past year. To make matters worse the egotistical producer has invited along the local Mayor, Mayoress and Chief Inspector William Crab - with the catalyst of a forbidden love between two members of opposing families, you have a recipe for disaster.
