Are there set terms? Or could i start whenever?
Are there any auditions in order to start the classes?
No auditions, everyone is welcome and all can benefit. You can start the term up until week 5. Any later than that and we delay your 1st session until week 1 of the next term.
could you please tell me how i go about enrolling?
First step is to give us a call at the office on 01942675747 and one of our representatives can run through all the basics and offer you a free session. Alternatively you can fill in one of the on-line forms on the website and we'll call you back.
hi i am 17 in may and was wondering if i could still join? as your classes only go up to 16.
Absolutely. You really become castable from age 17 onwards so it is the perfect age to join our older group at any of the branches.

How many shows do you do?
We do a big annual, ticketed production. All of our shows have original scripts, choreography and musical score. In addition to this, branches that are particularly productive occasionally have the opportunity to take part in a Showcase for parents.
how much does it cost
We do not publish our prices on the web. However, I can tell you that they are highly competitive - great value for money. We have no hidden charges and we haven't raised our prices for 3 years despite the credit crunch! For more information please call 01942 67 57 47.
I am 12 and only want to do dance, is this possible?
We only offer full performance training i.e. Drama, Dance and Singing - we feel that all three compliment each other and anyone hoping to have a career in the arts needs knowledge of all disciplines in addition to their chosen specialist field.
i am a student at one of your branches. i am 15 and in your older group. i love to sing, dance and to act , but i am very interested in teaching, Do you think that there is any opportunities for me to help out in any of your braches in the future ?
Absolutely. Give us a ring in the office or chat with your Branch Manager and we can see if we having any training placements available over the next 12 months for you.
I am currently 16 and about to leave my current theatre group as I am too old to carry on at this establishment. Having seen your advertisments in my local paper, I wanted to find out more about what you do and offer. I would really appreciate it if you could send my some information (costs, dates, etc.) on classes and courses in the Altrincham/Manchester area for my age group: 27 Riddings Road, Timperley, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 6BW Many thanks.
There are lots of options for you. I will send out our general info pack to you but it really would be best if you had a chat with one of the team in the office on 01942 67 57 47.
I don't think I want to be an actor but I like Drama and Dance and Singing.
Well then, you are our perfect type of new member. You will benefit from the training even if you don't want to become an actor. In fact we advise many students not to become part of the Casting Department if we feel they are not ready for the industry. Our training can benefit you in many ways and provide you with important life skills that will be useful whatever you decide to do later in life.

My Son is 24 but would love to get into acting and we believe he has good potential. Your academy is only for ages 3-16 would you have any advice on how he should go about this ambition.
The Jacqueline Chadwick Academy is a recognised and well established casting agency too. Please feel free to call the office on 0194267574 to discuss the matter with our casting department. Please note that in order for us represent an individual within the industry you must already have a c.v.,training and have graduated from a recognised Drama School/University.
what are the fees?
The reason we don't post information about fees on our web site is because there are various fees for various classes. Our rates are highly competitive, a simple call to 01942 67 57 47 will answer your question
What happens at the end of the 10 weeks? Do we have to leave?
No, the Academy offers on-going performance training. In order to benefit fully we would advise you to remain a member.
What if I only want to do Drama (no dancing or singing)?
we run Drama only classes on Monday and Friday evenings. These classes are taught by Jacqueline herself. For more information cal us on 01942 67 57 47.
What Should I Wear? Is There A Uniform?
There is no uniform as such, but you are advised to wear flat shoes/trainers and comfortable clothing - jeans + skirts are no good for dancing in! Academy T-shirts are available from your branch supervisor.

Yes. Jackie is very hands on. She teaches Drama only classes on weekday evenings herself but also attends the Saturday Academy sessions to see how all of her students are developing. Jackie designs the curriculum herself and is in charge of teacher/manager recruitment.
would i be able to join the academy as i am in college full time but would love to be a part of it. i was thinking that if i end up getting acting jobs will this be too much for me to handle on top of college ?
Darren, It isn't compulsory to be part of the casting department so you could still train but not take on any jobs that could disrupt your studies.
For more information on The Academy, please call 01942 67 57 47
Many thanks,
Jackie
